Middle School US History Based Writing

Level: 7th -9th Grade
 
Content: This is a rigorous, 30-week course that includes instruction in writing, as well as some grammar and vocabulary, as it relates to writing. Students will be given a writing assignment every week. The writing assignments will range from creative writing projects to various types of essays.
 
We will be using the IEW US History theme book for this course. The assignments will follow a chronological history program of the same time period (1600-1850AD).
