Middle School US History Based Writing & Literature

Level: 7th -9th Grade
 
Content: This is a rigorous, 30-week course that includes instruction in writing and literature, as well as some grammar and vocabulary, as it relates to writing. Students will be given a reading and writing assignment every week. The writing assignments will range from creative writing projects to various types of essays. Literary analysis discussions will be included in our class meetings.
 
We will be using the IEW US History theme book for this course. Here is the tentative Literature book list.
